Courteous service, delicious cake!

We went there to eat cake today and found that the staff was very overwhelmed. We waited over half an hour (at our central table) before we could alert the staff to us by repeatedly waving. But the waitress already ran past our table several times without eye contact to us. The cake was okay and okay in terms of price.

I didn't have a nice birthday here. Despite prior arrangement, everything was wrong. The atmosphere was hectic and unpleasant. Even the cakes that were ordered were sold to other guests. We also didn't get the table as agreed in advance by phone. We were very close to each other It's a shame, because otherwise we were very happy to come here, but the situation also got into trouble due to the Corona period. We wish the operators to relax the situation soon so that the guest can feel comfortable again.

Super delicious home-baked cakes and pies are here! Without frills and bells and whistles. This is how the huge pieces taste best. The breakfast is one of the best in Oldenburg and surroundings. It is always full, you order the best. In summer you can sit outside. It's a bit tight inside, but you do not want to run around. Well worth a visit for cake lovers!

Yesterday on a bike ride in the cafe at the museum rest stop for a coffee. Only later, after the drinks were already served, we realized that was actually closed! After we had apologized, we got to hear that this was not a problem, only if we had also ordered cake, you would have come into rotation. My conclusion: I've rarely experienced such nice service as in this cafe. Just great. And by the way also noticed: the coffee was excellent ....

I have never enjoyed a better breakfast buffet anywhere. There are a lot of good salads and various little things. Everything is always freshly prepared.
